Job Description
Department & how it relates to the role Prepare test documentation and perform appropriate testing of software solutions in accordance with IM Test Standards. About the role (External) Accountabilities § Prepare test specifications as defined in the IM Test Standards. § Perform testing for each of the identified test stages applicable to the software solution being implemented using appropriate tools to record and report test results. Document any technical and application specific knowledge during the test lifecycle. § Provide timely feedback to developers, managers and other relevant groups concerning issues identified during testing. § Prepare regression test packs. § Coordinate third party input into testing lifecycles where required. § Assist in configuring and managing the test environments and the preparation of appropriate test data for all identified test stages. Do you have..? · Good demonstrable software testing experience · Demonstrable knowledge of a range of testing techniques, tools and strategies · Ability to produce professional and well-structured test specifications · ISEB Foundation Certificate in software testing · Technical exposure to Unix/Wintel/Oracle products
