Job Description : An established Rail organisaiton is actively seeking an experienced Technical Assurance manager to be based in Borehamwood with excellent man management skills! The Technical Assurance Manager will be responsible for the Control of product quality through company processes within a supply chain environment and procedures by Inspection of components, assemblies and products as well as suppliers premises, Liaison with design authority regarding technical problems, etc. For this role we are looking for Team player and team leader someone who can bring out the strengths in people. You must have the ability to manage Quality Assurance department within a industrial testing facility environment. Experience in an electronic test environment preferably in a safety critical industry Implementation and compliance to robust quality procedures as well as new QA and Inspection techniques and Sampling Plans. Practical hands on ability to rework assemblies and use tools and measuring instruments A very strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards Computer literate (Microsoft Office) with the ability to write reports and advise on technical problems You must have ESD precautions awareness. We would be looking to offer up to 45k +. 25 days holiday per annum, +2% DC pensions Scheme as well as a choices benefit scheme which includes holiday purchase, dental plan and purchasing of vouchers etc.
