Job Description
Role Description Our client is recruiting for Conductor & Driver Line Managers to implement customer service standards to create a first class environment to deliver excellent service to their customers. This will in turn enhance the on-board experience, resulting in repeat business and provision of higher satisfaction results. Within this role you will be required to conduct weekly & monthly reviews including, but not limited to:- - Staff performance reviews & career development, - Welfare & Safety issues, - Disciplinary & grievances, - Support the Competence Development Managers in maintaining competence in operational activities and others pertinent to the Driver & Conductor roles. You will be expected to maintain or gain your own competence in Conductor / Driver tasks and activities as well as additional competence requirements pertinent to the role of Line Manager. You will be expected to implement the service quality defined standards to drive a consistency in customer service standards for all train crew that:- - Ensures excellent quality of on board announcements (pre-recorded and train crew delivered) - Provide timely and accurate customer information - Ensures effective ticket checking and enforces visibility - Provides and enforces a clear policy on appearance and presentation Required Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications You will be able to demonstrate experience and success in a customer services environment managing a minimum of 30 staff members. Also you will be able to show impressive results when meeting demanding budgetary and workforce productivity targets. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be an experienced negotiator. Candidates will be expected to be innovative, creative, highly motivated & be able to interpret financial statements. You will have excellent interviewing and report / letter writing skills. A degree qualification with significantly support your application.
