Job Description Our client a leading civils contractor has recently been awarded a roads/ structures project in the Essex area. They are looking for a Roads Sub Agent to work on the A13 Sadlers Farm Contract due to start Mid April 2010. Candidates must have extensive experience in highways structures and capable of proactively managing roads teams to management systems within a design and build environment. Reporting to the Agent, who is capable of proactively managing structures teams to management systems within a design and build environment, demonstrating good health and safety, resource cost control and programme management skills. A robust working knowledge of SHW essential. Extensive experience in working on civil engineering projects in a similar role, specifically Highways, Rail and Bridges. HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering desirable. Must be a team player but also able to work on own initiative. Working knowledge of SHW (Specification for Highways Works) is essential.
