Job Description
Job Description: This position will be assigned to a construction job site. Review all structural field conditions and submittals. Provide design solutions and calculations. Review all structural RFIs and shop drawings and comment on their completeness. Provide design documents necessary to complete all construction document submissions, such as steel and rebar shop drawings and RFIs. Work with the construction contractor detailers and field staff to provide design details and solutions to field conditions. Design and engineer new members and connections as necessary. Maintain logs on all design efforts and report to URS management on tasks completed. URS seeks individuals who are motivated to learn, grow and seek out new project responsibilities.
