Job Description Our client is looking for a Specialist Services Manager to work within their Rail division. This position exists within the maintenance team. The role requires working in and with business units to develop a strong internal working relationship, whilst fostering the external growth of the rail specialist services area. Your key challenges will be to successfully and professional provide internal services to support the wider rail business, to successfully obtain external work to ensure full utilisation of resources and equipment, whilst not affecting the internal support requirements, to expand the business overtime to become a direct revenue and profit centre for the rail business. and to align all behaviours with the clients culture and to ensure that safety is given a higher priority than productivity. The areas of specialist services include: - on track machine and logistics - welding - vegetation - pressure injection You will need to have a tertiary qualification and significant (5 years or more) demonstrated successful experience in establishing and maintaining a service orientated business, demonstrated ability in proactively building relationships with key stakeholders and developing new business opportunities within previous clients and project planning/management skills.
