To support our development, we are looking for a: SITE MANAGER Reports to: Manager, Site Deployment Based in Korea KEY JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for the management of all site activities during the installation, test & commissioning phases of the project. Manages the planning and scheduling of installation, testing and all other field activities. Is the key interface with the customer and their engineers Is the key interface with our Installation Contractor and the customers Civil Partners for site activities Provides technical support for all field installation activities (work done by others). Manages all aspects of safety on site, and is the Site Safety Representative for the project (if no separate SSR has been identified). Ensures that all employees (including the sub-contractors) comply with the Health and Safety requirements as detailed in the reference documents in the Project Management Plan, as well as all other applicable safety policies/work instructions. Prepares regular status and the progress reports and meeting minutes for the Project Manager, Project Systems Engineer and the Customer. Ensures all site installation drawings and documents are kept current to relevant revisions. Ensures that "as-built" information is recorded as the work progresses and that this is submitted to Toronto for updating of documentation. Co-ordinates the activities of technical specialists from TRSS who are on site to perform integration testing, trouble shooting and commissioning testing. Oversees site testing during the integration and commissioning periods. Oversees training of customer operations and maintenance staff with respect to the train control system. Responds to various customer correspondence, either directly or via the Project Manager. Prepares SAR/problem/action reports and ensures these are processed correctly and communicated to the Project Manager and Project Systems Engineer. Performs some PICO testing and assists in T&C activities as required. Administers & maintains site office, including the co-ordination of office suppliers, security, bill payments, etc. Advise project manager of site staffing level requirements. BASIC SKILL LEVEL REQUIREMENTS 5 years relevant working experience. Working knowledge of TRSS products with respect to installation support and testing. Working knowledge of safety standards and practices required at project site. Experience in installation and testing of train control systems. PC literate and use of word processing, spread sheet and scheduling software packages. Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of company Policies & Procedures. Fluency in Site language is an asset
