Job Description
Role;

The purpose of this role is to provide accurate surveying, setting out, measurement and control of contract works with a view to progressing to the supervision of resource and sub-contractors on smaller schemes.

- Ensuring the accuracy and correct interpretation of contract drawings, specifications and other information used in support of the delivery of site engineering.
- Responsibility for the management of all dimensional control on site.
- Ensuring that site engineering is carried out in a professional, systematic and accurate manner.
- Supervision of works including labour, plant and subcontractors.
- Keeping accurate records, including a diary, of all site activities.
- Reporting observations and issues to line managers in a timely and professional manner.
- Assisting the line managers with the resolution of engineering issues and queries.
- Taking off and ordering of materials.
- Monitoring and Control of wastage.
- Assisting in the production of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and other documentation.

- IT Literate, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
- Disciplined and logical approach to planning and scheduling works.
- Willing to travel and work away from home.
- Relevant Qualification (Degree/HNC/ONC).
