Job Description: Lead RR force account procurement coordination. Obtain and secure a thorough understanding of contract terms and conditions. Administration and tracking of materials in- process and on-hand. Interface with construction managers and warehouse staff. Lead materials procurement and interface with program management and railroad personnel, as well as suppliers, vendors, engineers, designers and corporate counterparts. Identify issues and resolve. Manage materials procurement staff, including Materials Manager and administrative support. Organize and lead processes required for material procurement spreadsheets and information systems. Develop and recommend new and/or improved standards, systems and technologies for these services, while providing alternatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
