Job Description
My client is a leading design consultancy working on transportation and building services projects. They need a Senior Electrical Engineer to carry out electrical design consisting mainly of electrical building services for station modernisations and platform extensions. This is a permanent job based in Bristol with a salary of £40k - £50k. The successful candidate will work on the production of specifications in the M&E and civil/structural engineering team. Input will include cable sizing, lighting design, control systems and electrical distribution systems. Also lead M&E input on some projects with supervision of junior engineers and CAD technicians. Experience required: / Experience of working on Rail (Network Rail/London Underground) projects with emphasis on electrical building services / Detailed knowledge of MV/LV Distribution equipment and systems / Lighting Design / Standby Generation / Building services / Cabling and earthing design / Ability to manage mutidisciplinary teams on small projects / Ability to act as Checker for M&E designs on Network Rail projects
