Job Description
We are looking to speak with Senior Construction Managers with Heavy Civils experience to work on the construction of a London train station. It is important you have experience of managing large budgets and have been involved on Multi-million construction projects ranging from £100M to £300M.

You will also have experience of piling, concrete and steel. Integrate and manage all site activity and co-ordinate the detailed delivery schedule including providing reports on progress of the works. Act as key interface between the senior project managers engineering team and sites based activity, and alert the senior project manager to emerging issues, problems or opportunities that require their attention/action and recommend the course of action to take.

Essential
- Expert experience of major construction works.
- Experience of leading a team of multi-discipline site management personnel on a major project
- Relevant successful experience in the construction industry, and in a relevant railway engineering discipline or building management as appropriate.
- Good understanding of CDM Regulations requirements.
- Knowledge of the possession regime and an understanding of track access principles.
- Knowledge of safety & environmental strategies, in particular health and safety plans, method statements and risk assessments.
- HNC or equivalent qualification in construction or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Knowledge of contract forms and quality procedures.
- Effective communication skills and an understanding of customer requirements.
- Ability to operate in both Contractor site environment and Project management office environment.
