POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly recording and reporting for railroad safety and related activities. This includes collecting and compiling data, generating and filing proper documentation to support the needs of the department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Formal Education:

*College coursework in related area required
*College degree preferred

Experience:

*2 years general office or administrative experience
*Previous compliance reporting experience preferred

Skills:

*Solid in MS Office skills – proficient in Excel
*Previous database system experience
*Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize
*Strong project management skills
*Solid written and oral communications skills
*Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently

Job Duties:

*Responsible for daily, weekly, monthly recording and reporting for railroad safety and related activities.
*Collect and compile data necessary for regulatory and/or legal reporting.
*Generate and file all proper documentation in order to satisfy legal and/or FRA requirements.
*Review documents to estimate costs associated with any regulatory reporting needs.
*Interface with various departments to obtain regulatory information in a timely manner.
*Create documents and reports from database and/or Excel.
*Copy and scan large volume of legal, regulatory and/or supporting documents as needed.
*Organize and track case documents such as claims, contracts, filings
*Maintain legal file system database & track current projects, litigation status and compile reports as necessary.
*Provide additional departmental support as needed.
