Job Description
Role My client is looking for an experienced Technical Bid Writer to work on Rail Projects in London. The successful Technical Bid Writer will have a background in Rail Engineering projects and sound knowledge of Bid and Tender procedures. The primary responsibility of the successful Technical bid Writer will be to improve the content and value of technical and quality submissions with the aim to achieve as high a score as possible in line with the high standards of a Rail Environment. This role is working predominantly with the procurement team on bids and tenders for works in line with my clients remit and projects will include Stations, Platforms, Canopies, DDA works, Infrastructure, OHL, Signalling, Telecoms and electrification. Required Experience You will have a relevant qualification in Civil Engineering to support your technical experience be it a degree, HND, HNC or ONC as well as experience with report writing, technical and tender writing and experience of working on site.
