Job Description
Job Description To accommodate our expanding workload, our client, a leading consultancy is seeking to employ a Quantity Surveyor to be based in one of their London offices working on a major rail project. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience at the front line of client and customer service delivery. You will be a self motivated, commercially aware Quantity Surveyor with the ability to support major projects and possesses a good track record. You will be responsible for producing estimates, schedules and bills of quantities, agreeing measures, new rates and final accounts including client reporting. You will evaluate and agree variations and quotations for compensating events and will negotiate and agree contractual issues. You will be qualified to HND/Degree level or equivalent in quantity surveying or civil engineering, with a good knowledge of ICE and NEC conditions of contract. You will have excellent IT skills, be self motivated and able to work with minimum supervision and ideally be chartered or approaching chartered status.
