Job Description
This top five construction consultancy takes an active interest in their employees career development, sitting down with them as soon as they start to set goals to make sure you work collectively to reach career milestones. They offer cost and programme management services in a variety sectors which include Utilities, Rail, Commercial, Pharmaceutical, Health and Energy to name a few. A high profile project near Brighton is has a need for 2 Quantity Surveyors to work on site. The £200m water treatment work has at least 18 months left and with other work in this area our client are looking to bolster the team that work in the West & East Sussex area. The 2 positions are slightly different in that one position is to deal with your typical post contract tasks including claims, final accounts etc and the other position is to manage a £30m mechanical & electrical package. Background Although our client are a consultancy they would consider quantity surveyors with a contractor background. Ideally chartered Water Treatment Works or Mechanical & Electrical experience is preferable however if you have proven experience of sector switching that you will be considered. If you are a Quantity Surveyor who is ready for the next step up in your career then this may be the right position for you.
