Job Description
Job Description Our client, a leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking to employ a Quantity Surveyor to be based in their West Yorkshire office working on a variety of Rail Projects. You will be responsible for negotiating contracts, evaluating and agreeing target costs and presenting and discussing contractual issues with clients. You will also evaluate and produce estimates, schedules and bills of quantities. Ideally you will have a BSc qualification in Quantity Surveying or civil engineering or equivalent and be computer literate. RICS would be an advantage but is not essential. It is also essential that you have a knowledge of ICE and NEC Conditions of Contract and Contract Documents for Railway Works. Experience of managing railway civil engineering or multi disciplinary schemes would also be an advantage.
