Description: About the Company: An up and coming multi services contractor that currently has large growth plans for contracts on rail related schemes. Their work is mainly focused on the design, delivery and implementation of communication systems. They are currently focused on maintaining an impressive growth pattern by developing their new business sector pipeline. With this in mind they want to employ a dynamic and career minded quantity surveyor to take an important function in the future success of this exciting company. About the Role: They require a Quantity Surveyor with the ability to take full commercial control of the mentioned type of contracts, work ranging in value from £500k – 3m. You need to work under your own initiative and guidance by bringing tight margined priced contracts within time and budget / profit. You will be able to develop existing clients to maintain future secured work. Your knowledge of claims will need to be good. Skills Required: * Strong on Claims * Telecoms Experience * Quantity Surveyor needs to be a self starter, capable of working under their own initiative * Have good knowledge communication systems on rail and civils contracts * Degree qualified * Show structure and progression throughout your career * Be prepared to travel to contracts throughout the country when required
