This Civil Engineering main contractor is looking to recruit a Proposals Manager, to support the Regional Director. Understanding the customers needs and developing solutions to deliver them, moreover working closely with technical members of the bid team to present complex proposals with clear value added for their clients.

Responsibilities:

- Quality Submissions & Pre Qualification submissions.
- Raising Quality Submissions to a very high Standard & Management of Key Quality submissions.
- Managing, reviewing, changing Quality systems for added value to the business.
- Develop strategy to improve our chances of winning the work.
- Liaise with operations/design/commercial/procurement
- Develop relationships with Client and exert Business Development skills.
- Accumulate market intelligence.
- Co-ordinate engineering design solutions.
- Co-ordinate tender documentation/submission package.
- Submission of tender package.
- Attend tender settlement meetings ensuring all relevant cost information is available for presentation and complete the tender as instructed.
- Maintain regular contact with departments to obtain feedback on costs, technical and commercial performance.
- The undertaking of a range of specialist administrative responsibilities aimed at producing high quality proposals.
- Review Capability documents, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments.
- Write, edit and review material for documents & policy.

The following qualifications & experience:

- Degree qualified Civil Engineer (Chartered-MICE or equivalent).
- Ability to convert technical material into clear data/documents.
- Extensive experience within the civil Engineering Sector.
- General understanding and ability to interpret Project programmes and construction requirements.
