Job Description
Due to major investment being injected into India’s infrastructure, this leading international construction contractor is actively seeking a Civils Project Manager to be the lead on a new metro system in Mumbai on a 1 year fixed term basis (with possible extensions). The initial work is the construction of an 11km route, to include 12 elevated stations, and is the first phase of the Mumbai Metro rail project. The successful candidate will have previous experience being the Lead Project Manager for a multinational construction contractor working on major rail construction projects. You will be able to lead all aspects and disciplines of the project (planning, design, engineering, commercial and supervisory/management). You will ideally have experience working on new build metro or main line rail schemes in the UK or preferably internationally. You MUST have a DEGREE within ideally a civil engineering or construction related subject and it would be highly advantageous to have achieved professional status. (i.e. M.I.C.E.) .
