Job Description
Job Description : Responsible for the management, coordination and implementation of planning, design and construction of major roadway grade crossings of the Metrolink commuter rail corridors as operated by the Southern California Regional Rail Authority throughout the greater Los Angeles area. The candidate will have the necessary communications skills to facilitate consensus on the design of improvements at grade crossings between the local agencies in counties and municipalities, utility companies, railroad authorities and State transportation authorities. The candidate must be able to develop a detailed schedule for completion of improvements at each location and provide progress updates to be integrated into a master schedule for the full grade crossing improvement program systemwide. Monitoring of the scope and budget for each grade crossing location will be performed with updates as required to keep the work within the budget allowances for the projects.
