For further information on Bombardier please visit our website. We are looking for a Procurement & Logistics Manager to cover our Illford and Chart Leacon Sites. Your Role You will provide professional leadership, direction and support for Procurement, Material and Inventory Control on all Direct, Rotable materials and Non Product Related Materials. Your Challenges Manage the Procurement Team responsible for the procurement of materials to support the Heavy Maintenance sites. Delivering to agreed supplier cost reduction targets through price reduction, cost reduction, innovation, volume reduction, engagement and effective inventory management. Lead the Material Management, Inventory and Logistics team to control and process all materials through effective scheduling, expediting and planning activities. Achieving the successful implementation of new products to the site workshops, ensuring cost and timescale targets are met. Development of Procurement strategy to enable a sound supply base and partnership(s) is formed. Liaison with Project Management and Sales on future potential contracts to ensure bids are submitted which optimise current and future GM profiles. Align SCM methodology and activities to the HM long term business strategy. Qualifications Your Experience and Qualifications MCIPS/Degree qualified Change Management track record, through understanding of manufacturing processes Total Cost Approach Extensive management experience. End to end supply chain management experience Experience of Supplier Development Experience of intensive negotiation Material, Inventory Control and stores management Demonstrable experience of stock classification, demand planning and replenishment processes Experience of ERTP/MRP systems, preferably SAP
