Job Description:

Responsible for all aspects of price/cost proposal leadership for the SET Group (USD 700M Revenue.) Includes pricing planning, compliance, training and tools for the design, implementation and enforcement of pricing policies and procedures primarily in a U.S. Government contracting environment. Ensure proposals are compliant to Federal, Division and RFP requirements. Train pricing staff across the SET Group. Work closely with Director, Pricing to develop and provide cost proposal models, templates and tools for use across the company. Conduct internal audits of cost/price proposals. Ensure SET Group is adhering to Estimating System/Pricing Guidance.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead the pricing function in a diverse organization with multiple large and complex pricing proposals ongoing continually.
• Interface with Senior Management, Business Development and Proposal Teams to identify issues, support strategy, implement solutions, develop guidance and ensure compliance.
• Participate in long range planning to ensure well-planned and structured proposal responses.
• Participate and lead efforts to template and streamline cost/price proposal requirements for use across the SET Group - supporting complex spreadsheet models, analysis and summarization of data, narrative and descriptive documentation and price development methodologies. Bring tools and innovation to improve pricing across the eats Group for improved performance at operating locations.
• Interface with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and teammates as required to develop team pricing, document price/cost reasonableness, conduct cost analyses/comparisons and prove reasonableness, realism and completeness.
• Lead and train others for executive level analysis and presentation of pricing data as proposals are developed.
• Prepare and conduct pricing training for both technical and pricing staff members.
• Participate as a lead in the proposal review process, ensuring questions and issues resolved, proper technical/cost approach, support pricing and reviews, leading to award. Support transition, phase in and start-up activities.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Position requires travel (approximately 25-40%).

** This position is located in the DC Metro area. There is flexibility as to which office it will reside.**
