Job Description
Role Description Within the role of field engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that all health and safety is up to date inclusive of safety audits and NRSWA inspections. You will be required to manage all high voltage(HV) and low voltage (LV) network links and update as required. You will have responsibility for ensuring that the projects and programme of works are met on time. Within this role you will become part of the team which completes any emergency works on the underground and responds to the removal of unsafe situations. Although you will be working as one of the team of field engineers and reporting to a lead field engineer you will be involved in the supervision of contractors. Required Experience You will be required to have good overall knowledge of the electrical distribution network. A formal qualification in electrical engineering is required. You will also need to have a full UK driving licence. Your past experience will include an awareness and knowledge of safety management. You will have a strong customer service ability with experience of managing and working client relationships. They supply electricity to a quarter of the UKs population. They work in sectors inclusive but not limited to rail, infrastructure and power distribution.
