Job Description
Role Description: You will be working as part of the overhead line engineering team (OHL) and be responsible for the design of the overhead power lines on the rail network. The role will involve you working with and liaising with the project management and design management team . You will offer design and technical advice as well as offering advice to the planners. For this role you will report to the principle ole designer / design manager. Required Experience: • Previous experience in Overhead Line design. • Knowledge of UK rail industry practice and a familiarity with railway standards. • A degree, HNC or other relevant qualification in a relevant discipline. • Competent in the production of drawings using CAD software, ideally Microstation . • Membership of a relevant professional organisation. • Already on / Previous Experience of being on a company Accreditation Certificate as \’Designer\’ and \’Checker\’ Employer Details: This company have an industry reputation synonymous with quality and are one of the market leaders.
