POSITION SUMMARY: To evaluate the effectiveness of the TSP by developing and utilizing measurement tools which indicate specific and general areas of operational performance.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance) or commensurate experience

EXPERIENCE:

* Previous operating systems knowledge (MCS) required.
* 1 year Railroad experience preferred.
* Business knowledge in Transportation preferred.

SKILLS:

* Excellent computer skills (MS Office suite and business objects)
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Solid relationship building and interpersonal skills at all levels; able to influence
* Excellent project management and organization skills
* Strong statistical and analytical skills and financial acumen

JOB DUTIES:

* Manage critical report creation/development for performance evaluation in key areas within the operating group.
* Maintain the integrity of the measurement systems, reports, and archives, as well as enhance automation of performance reporting.
* Manage business matrix goals performance measurements for Transportation and Mechanical departments.
* Develop quality processes oriented for optimal operation.
* Develop projects to improve Key Performance Indicator (KPI) performance.
* Helps train customers on how to use and maximize KCS systems.
* Manage ad-hoc business reporting requests upon request.
* Create tools and reports for field personnel as necessary.

OTHER: On call 24x7/365.
