Job Description
Role Description Working on a fleet of modern rolling stock, you will work as part of a shift maintenance team conducting both planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance. Work will include both electrical and mechanical service and repair to systems inclusive of (but not limited to) wheels, brakes, bogies, driver controls, Air Conditioning, lighting, heating, toilets etc. This is a high performance, high productivity environment meaning employees must be driven to achieve the targets set. Required Skills & Experience Successful applicants will have demonstrable experience in an engineering maintenance environment, be that aviation, naval or heavy plant machinery. Applicants must hold an engineering qualification equivalent to at least an NVQ 3. Albeit rail experience is preferred, it is not essential, providing that applicants have prior engineering maintenance experience. Attitude is key, our client requires high calibre people to guarantee a high calibre performance meaning that applicants must be motivated, well presented and determined to forge a career on the railway.
