Job Description
DURATION - 6 month contract initially, with a view to extend beyond this START DATE - Ideally Mid February PROJECT INFORMATION - My client a leading UK Rail contractor is looking to add a freelance M+E professional for one of their busy offices located in Manchester. Must be based in Manchester or surrounding commutable distances i.e. Salford, Stockport, Oldham, Middleton, Bury, Bolton, Withington. For the right mechanical and electrical professional, a permanent position could possibly be available. To be suitable for the position you must have; Signalling power experience rather than building services Minimum of HNC/Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering At least 5 years experience within the M&E Engineering Industry, including at least 3 years proven design experience Experience of management and use of appropriate CAD design packages. Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you had; Site experience Membership of IET is desirable. Broad knowledge of other related engineering disciplines such as OLE, track and power. Previous experience of working in a project environment. ROLE INFORMATION To produce and independently check M&E design in accordance with the contractual commitments of my client. The job holder will have experience of working on site, carrying out site surveys and working on possessions.
