Job Description
My client requires a Senior Design Engineer on a potentially long term contract basis with work expected to last well over a year. The work will involve design, design production checking, and independent checking of Signalling systems as required. Provide functional support and guidance to the Design Engineer(s) within the team on all aspects of Signal Design within allocated projects. Participate in the preparation of technical details, specifications and tenders for Signalling projects Monitor the progress of works and ensure that the development, design, construction and testing requirements are met and effect remedial action when required. REQUIREMENTS Hold or be working towards IRSE Signalling Principles Designer (A, B, D or E) and Signalling Design Verifier License Experience in the design and implementation of Signalling systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Good understanding of task, time and people management skills. *Holder of Personal Track Safety card. The day rate is dependant upon experience but will be very lucrative and above current market rates
