To support our development, we are looking for a: JOB TITLE: Group Lead, Supplier Quality Assurance WORK LOCATION: Toronto, Ontario REPORTS TO: Manager, Supply Quality Ensure the quality of purchased and/ or subcontracted products by monitoring, rating, auditing and taken preventive actions necessary by working with the Suppliers and Subcontractors. Supplier Quality Assurance Group Lead will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the Supplier Quality Assurance Specialist at Contract manufacturers or strategic suppliers and subcontractors. Your main responsibilities are: Coordinate effective execution of Supplier Audit Schedule Coordinate the support to projects through timely root cause analysis of quality issues identified in supplier audits, and from customer complaints related to workmanship of manufactured equipment from suppliers/subcontractors. Coordinate with S&C the process of selection & evaluation of suppliers/subcontractors. Consolidate all the supplier metrics and supplier quality ratings and report to Management. Coordinate the efforts of the Supplier Qty. Assurance Specialists for effective implementation of subcontractor corrective actions. Coordinate part change notices (PCN) process with contract manufacturers. Track internal performance metrics of Supplier Quality Department Coordinate quality improvement efforts at Subcontractors Communicate quality problems to Industrialization & Procurement and Subcontractors in a timely manner It may require local and international travel to supplier / subcontractors. Ideally you have: Electrical Engineering Diploma Certified Quality Engineer (ASQ CQE) Certified IPC 610/620 Trainer Certified Quality Auditor (ASQ CQA) 7 + yrs QA Audit experience Experience in Supplier Quality Assurance We offer: An attractive compensation package and benefits.
