Job Description My client is a multi-disciplinary contractor who work in the civil engineering, building and rail infrastructure sectors. They are renowned for their customer focused approach and ?family? company based principles. They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator initially to join a delivery team based in the city of London with excellent longer term career opportunity offered thereafter in their head office located just north of London. Your role will be to produce competitive estimates within the civils/rail environment operating on a major framework. You will be working as part of a large pre contract team and will be required to engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver robust and financially-sound cost plans for all aspects of the projects. To be considered, you must have: 5-7 years of experience as an Estimator in the UK civil engineering sector gained with a main contractor Fully familiar with estimating under the NEC3 contract suite Proven background in the UK rail sector This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that are bucking the trend in a still uncertain economic climate, achieving year on year growth, and who can also offer excellent medium to longer term opportunities for the right individual.
