Job Description Our client, a well know Contractor operating within the rail industry is seeking to employ a Senior Estimator to be based in their Yorkshire office, working on a variety of civil engineering based schemes. You will be responsible for the production of Cost Models and Estimates in line with the sector business plan. This will include the analysis and modelling of data to produce winning cost and pricing structures. It is essential that you will have experience of working within the rail industry and have financial, commercial and contractual awareness. You will have a good general understanding of the rail industry, and a full understanding of the Network Rail procurement process. It is also important that you will have an in-depth understanding of the principles of sustainability, partnership working, value for money and continuous improvement. You will be computer literate, a good communicator and negotiator and have strong presentation skills.
