Job Description Working for a international leader in Rail Infrastructure engineering projects and the UKs largest rail engineering and services provider, our client is looking for an Engineering Manager to manage the engineering aspects of the project. Key responsibilities will include: Effective management of design/engineering resource, effective project management and control, providing key technical guidance and input on projects and tenders, identification and implementation of staff training and development, representing the company on a technical basis, the management of engineering input into projects, contributing to continuous improvement, contributing to business development within the company, working with the assurance manager to ensure all aspects of engineering deliverables support the project assurance plan. This will be all site based work. You should have chartered engineer status and post chartered experience in one or more associated disciplines. Having proven managerial skills and be able to effectively delegate as and when required. You will be an effective communicator at all levels with a client focused approach to your working. Ideal you will be experienced in both consultancy and contracting and/or design and build projects with experience working on Multi disciplinary railway infrastructure projects.
