Job Description
Job Description Our client, a leading contractor operating within the Rail Industry is seeking to employ an E&P Design Engineer to be based in their York Rail Office. The client undertakes a variety of works within the rail industry, as such it is essential that you will have previous experience of working within this field. You will be able to design to BS7671:2008 17th Edition as well as having experience of lighting design schemes and of using Hevacomp and/or Amtech software packages. Ideally you will also have experience of the Network Rail GRIP procedures and design interfaces, experience of LUL procedures would be an advantage but is not essential. It would also be an advantage to have experience of points heating schemes, signalling power supplies and fire alarm systems. A valid PTS certificate would also be an advantage but is not essential. This is a contract role, initially for a 3 month duration, however there is a strong possibility that the role will be ongoing.
