Job Description
Job Description : A leading Rail and Civil engineering organisation is actively seeking an experienced Electrical design engineer to be based in North London in a permanent role. The design engineer will be part of a a team responsible for designing, detailing and producing technical drawings for the successful approval of rail electrical installations. The key projects you will work on include installations for Thameslink, FTN and a variety of re-signalling and level crossing works. You will be responsible for general measurement surveys of sites and proposing likely works to the construction teamas well as conducting outline design and detailing of rail electrical infrastructure producing detail specifications and calculations for power upgrades.You must have previous experience in the design and detail of electrical solutions. A degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent) would be a distinct advantage to your application, as would Chartered Membership of a professional engineering institution.
