Job Description
Job Description Due to the commencement of a major project within the Rail Industry, our client is seeking to employ a Document Controller to work on a 2 year contract based out of their Banbury office. You will be responsible for logging incoming documents and maintaining internal document trackers and registers as well as assisting the Project Manager with internal document review and collating and coordinating responses. You will issue documents to outside parties including the infrastructure owner and major contractor and file both hard and electronic copies of documents. It is essential that you will have a good working knowledge of document control systems and procedures as well as a good command of Microsoft Excel and the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets to reflect document status and history. The role is based in the Banbury office, but will also involve travel to the central Birmingham office.
