Job Description Our client, a well know multi disciplinary rail contractor is seeking to employ a Contracts Manager to be based in their Cardiff office working within their very successful rail Division. The Contracts Manager is responsible for successful project delivery and maximisation of margins through the delivery of contracts in a safe manner, on time, within budget and to the agreed levels of quality. You will also proactively develop relationships with clients and their representatives in order to identify, develop and maximise business opportunities for the business unit. As the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of multiple projects within programme and budget, and develop positive relationships with all parties associated with the contract. You will ensure that the project delivery teams are fully aware of the parameters of the contracts, and that they have the means to be able to work to these parameters. It is essential that you will have considerable experience of working within the rail industry within a similar role, and have experience of successfully leading project delivery teams. You will be qualified to degree level (or equivalent) and ideally be a member of the ICE. You will also possess extensive experience of delivering civil engineering projects ranging from ?250k to ?5m in value. Experience of design and construction activities is essential, as well as being IT literate and customer focused.
