Job Description
Department & how it relates to the role Job Purpose Manage the supply chain to achieve the most cost effective and industry standard compliant delivery of Seasonal (Autumn, Winter & Weedspray), Infrastructure Monitoring and Emergency Fleet operations to support Network Rails business needs. About the role (External) The National Delivery Service Operations team is responsible for the management of a number of high value contracts to support the operation, maintenance, renewal and enhancement of the rail network. The contracts must be managed to achieve both cost effective and quality delivery in order to meet the requirements of our customers. Key responsibilities of this role include active contribution to the engagement of the team, accurate collation and input of the information required to support the management of contracts and financial controls, assisting in building effective relationships with customers and suppliers, providing the data needed to produce management information to the required timescales and identifying potential efficiencies for the team to review.
