Your Challenges Manage End Customer Service Level Build knowledge of supply market (cost drivers; market influences; innovation) Negotiate prices, payment terms, lead times for assigned suppliers Implement suitable mechanisms for transacting with suppliers Collect data, analyse and improve supplier performance (QCDIM) Communicate business objectives to supply base Cost Reduction Responsible for Code 30+ by sub category EAC responsibility and support to the project by sub category Interface Price list maintenance in SAP RFQ processing supporting bid teams with material pricing information Support materials teams to improve supply chain processes Liaises with forecasting team to understand future demand Liaises with SQA engineers on supplier process improvements Support Technical Services on supplier quality issues Continuous Improvement Provide a fast, high quality response to any supplier issue Recommend key improvement areas - SAP, process Participate in the delivery of an action plan which allows for more use of SAP, eg SAP generated KPIs, automatic scheduling Qualifications Your Experience and Qualifications Strong purchasing and supply chain background Track record of cost reduction Change management Warehousing and distribution understanding Technical understanding of industry requirements MRP / Purchasing experience (SAP preferable) Proven negotiation experience Excellent analytical skills
