Job Description
Our client is an international consultancy with an excellent history of delivering major construction and infrastructure projects across the globe. Due to strategic planning and growth they are looking for an Associate Director / Associate cost manager to join their company and have an invaluable role in leading a cost management / Quantity surveying team and a prestigious project portfolio covering large mixed use developments. Location: Central London Remuneration: £55,000 - £70,000 Package depending on experience Flexible benefits include: Bonus Car Allowance Pension Private Health Fully paid subscriptions to associations The Job: The successful Associate / Director will be expected to take control of the consultancies clients managing the quantity surveying / cost management on a range of 360 degree life cycle mixed use developments. Projects range in value from £10 million to £100+ million. Due to the strategic nature of this position good client facing and business development skills will be needed. Career development is of top priority within this company and therefore they have a dedicated career plan for new employees with quarterly reviews. This in combination with the ability to move from one business unit to another is one of the attractive prospects of this post. Sectors including Public & Government work, Retail & Commercial developments, Health Science & Education, Infrastructure Rail & Airports and Large Mixed Developments makes. Requirements: MRICS BSc Quantity Surveying or relevant subject Top tier consultancy background 15+ years experience within Quantity Surveying and Cost management Construction experience with a good large mixed use development bias Good managerial experience with the ability to both manage and build a team Experience undertaking business development Excellent communication and client facing skills Gregarious personality with ambition to develop your career This is an excellent opportunity for a good Senior Quantity Surveyor to make the next step into managing a team or for an established Partner or Associate Director to work for a company who has a robust reputation in the market with key repeat business clients.
